There are several disability or diagnosis-based patient associations in Estonia. The aim of these associations is to protect the interests of their members and support their coping, as well as to increase awareness and understanding of disability or chronic illness in the society and to be a partner for the state, local government, health and social service providers.
By joining our patient organization, you will be better informed, receive support from people with similar experiences and be able to have a say in the development of social policy and health and social services, and improvement of social rehabilitation and communication opportunities.
Associations and unions of people with disabilities are joined by the Estonian Chamber of Disabled People as an umbrella organization, representing a total of about 285 organizations across Estonia.
